Rising aHead: The Athlete Mind Summit
A one of a kind, two-day immersive experience combining athlete-led conversations, story-telling, movement, somatic practices, mental health literacy, mental skills training, and sport psychology principles to help athletes strengthen both mental health and competitive mindset.
Our Approach
The goal isn’t perfect mental health or peak mental performance all the time; that’s not real life. The goal is to learn, train, and practice the skills and strategies that help you navigate life and sport with resilience, through the ups and downs, pivots, and transitions that come with every season of sport and life. And to do so together, in community.
The Experience
Twice a year, athletes have the opportunity to gather together to proactively build greater inner capacity and community. Designed as a catalyst for real transformation, athletes will walk away with greater calm, composure, and clarity, as well as practical skills and strategies to integrate into their daily training environments and competitive season. They’ll also walk away with new meaningful connections, a sense of community and belonging, and resources to support their upcoming season in and/or beyond sport.
Mental Training
Athletes train their bodies every day but rarely train their minds in a structured, supported, and guided way. The result? Pressure. Burnout. Performance anxiety. Identity loss after sport. Constant comparison. Fear of failure. And more. But there is another way. In this live and interactive program, athletes will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and train their mind in scientifically proven ways to support their brain, athletic development, holistic identity, and sustainable peak performance.

Most athletes are taught how to perform but not how to:

The Athlete Mind Experience is an immersive two-day event designed to bridge the gap between mental skills and peak performance. This is not a lecture series nor is it therapy. Dr. Chantale Lussier is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and the Podcast host of Rising aHead. A highly sought-after specialist in her field, Chantale has worked with thousands of competitive, Olympic, Paralympic, and pro athletes (NFL, CFL, NHL, OHL, PWHL), coaches, IST / health professionals, dancers, performing artists, executives, entrepreneurs, military, & emergency personnel (police, firefighters, first responders, etc). A professional member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA), and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), she brings a wealth of knowledge and over 32 years experiences in high performance environments to her practice.
